BOOK SUMMARY:
She's living her dream...

Kylie Ryans is the biggest thing to come out of Nashville since, well, since Trace Corbin. With a hit album and a powerful label behind her, she appears to be the girl who has it all.

But appearances can be deceiving.

Fresh out of rehab, Trace Corbin is ready to take on the world. Just not the girl he walked away from. Because if there's one thing he knows for certain, it's that the people you love are the ones who have the power to destroy you.

As their worlds collide, they'll have to make the ultimate choice. Follow their dreams, or give it all up for love.

They say love conquers all, but for Kylie and Trace, it just might wreck everything they've worked for.

Review:

I ADORED IT!! Such a fantastic series!!

“The memory of Kylie Ryans had become a ghost that haunted his house. And his dreams.”

I’m feeling happy and sad at the same time. I don’t want to say goodbye to Kylie and Trace, but I’m so, so, so happy with how their story panned out! If you were a little perturbed with how Girl on Tour ended, don’t worry because Caisey Quinn will make it up to you once you read this. Just like the other two books in the series, Girl in Love was emotional, lyrical, passionate, and fun all at the same time. Caisey Quinn can break and mend my heart with her words in the best way. This series tops my favorites list (I’ve admittedly read the first two books multiple times). Needless to say, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Be prepared because Kylie and Trace have a lot of growing and learning to do before they can actually be together this time around. This book is very much about their push-and-pull battle between themselves and each other. I was worried about them the whole time because they suffered through some serious misunderstandings and heartbreak. They could only deny their heart of what it wanted for so long though. Trust me when I say to hang on! It’s worth the bumpy ride.

“She was bourbon and intoxication and freedom from everything that had every held him captive all rolled into one.”

I was really impressed with how fluidly both characters evolved from the beginning to the end of the series. Their feelings, problems, and reactions were so realistic, and I think that added intensity to all the “feels” that were going on. Kylie is one stubborn gal. She felt Trace’s betrayal down to her bones and reached her breaking point. She had already been through so much before she met him that she just couldn’t handle anymore heartache. She’s a little firecracker though so she finds the strength to move on… without Trace. For most of the book, she’s unsure about whether or not being with Trace is an option or even a road that she wants to go down. Trace is… well… he’s just dreamy. But I’m determined not to give anything away, so I’m cutting this off here.

I truly adored this series and think it’s one of the best out there! Too often series start out good and fall a little flat at the end. I’m thrilled that this isn’t one of those series. It’s a solid story all the way through. I plan on holding Kylie & Trace near and dear to my heart for a long time to come and wouldn’t mind seeing them in a spinoff novel (*whispers* I love Steven)! *crosses fingers*
“The world wants fun and shiny and new. But I save my best of me for when I’m alone with you.”

5 stars!!
