I have been reading since...well...since I can remember. I've
been a member of The Babysitter's Club. I've gossiped with the Wakefield twins
of Sweet Valley High. I've walked the halls of Hogwarts with Harry, Ron, and
Hermione. I've entered the arena with Katniss and Peeta. And most recently,
I've tied one on with Christian and Ana in the Red Room of Pain. I was the little kid who stayed up at night with a
flashlight and a book while I hid under my covers. Now, I stay up at night to lay in bed and read with Gordon (my Kindle), who just happens to be named after my favorite baseball player. I find myself drawn to Mature Adult, New Adult, and Contemporary most
often, although I do enjoy a nice, dirty book from time to time. And depending on the story line, I can get into a Young Adult novel as well. My favorite authors include Ella Frank, K.A. Tucker, Elizabeth Lee, Caisey Quinn, Krista and Becca Ritchie, Pepper Winters, and A.
Meredith Walters.
If I don't have my nose buried in a
book, you can usually find me spending time with my friends, baking (I have a serious obsession with my KitchenAid mixer), going to country concerts, binge-watching shows on Netflix, or cheering on my Jayhawks, Royals, and Chiefs.
