ABOUT DREW + FABLE FOREVER: Monica Murphy returns with her most beloved characters, Drew and Fable, in this eBook original short story that brings her bestselling New Adult series full circle.

Fantasy. How I ended up with NFL player Drew Callahan, the guy every woman wants, is beyond my wildest dreams. All I know is that once he chose me as his one and only, I sure wasn’t looking back. I had past wounds and he showed patience and concern—even accepting responsibility for my messed-up kid brother. Now, yet again, he's found a way to blow my mind: an exotic wedding and honeymoon miles and miles away from home. What else could a girl ever ask for? Reality. Except now the honeymoon’s over. Drew's football schedule takes him on the road constantly, while I need to stay put and look after my brother until he finishes high school—because God knows our sorry excuse for a mother won’t. I know Drew loves me with all his heart, and I’ll always be over the moon about him. This just isn’t how I imagined life as newlyweds . . . dealing with the distance, missing him constantly. But we’ve gone through hard times before. We can get through this, too, right? We’re Drew and Fable, together forever. At least I hope so. . . .

EXCERPT: “We should check out Ocean Avenue tomorrow,” Drew whispers close to my ear, amusement tingeing his deep voice. “What? Are you serious?” Even though I’ve come to terms with being here, it doesn’t mean I want to linger and make it a serious vacation. Besides, Drew needs to get back home so he can resume practice. “Well yeah, remember the spot where we kissed?” His eyes are warm as they search my face, filled with so much love I feel my heart swell. “Yes,” I whisper achingly. “Of course I remember.” “I want to go back there.” He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, his index finger lingering on my skin. “I want to kiss you again in that little alley and remember how wet we were from the rain. How nervous I was. I was scared you might reject me.” I’d felt the same way. We’d dealt with much of the same feelings and fears and hadn’t even known it. “I want to take you to that store where you got the dress that just about killed me and buy you whatever you want,” he continues, his fingers drifting across my jaw. My eyes flutter closed as memories rush back at me. “I want to sit outside the dressing room and have you come out to show me every single thing you’re trying on.” That he remembers all the little details sends a thrill of pleasure spiraling to the very depths of my soul. “And then I want to wander off for a bit and let you do whatever you want, secretly hoping that you’ll send me a text that says marshmallow. Though if you don’t that’s okay because I’ll send you one instead.” He offers up a crooked smile and the sight of it cracks my heart wide open, overflowing with so much pure love for him I want to cry. “Because we made a deal. Whenever we see or hear that word, the other comes running. I’ll always be the one to rescue you, Fable. You never have to worry about that.”

Blog Tour & Giveaway: The Infamous Ellen James by N.A. Alcorn

The Infamous Ellen James (The Infamous Series #1)

Synopsis
Meet twenty-eight year old Ellen James. A sarcastic, feisty, foul-mouthed ER Nurse. She is snarky,

sassy, and sometimes crudely inappropriate. After a terrible breakup with her fiancĂ©, Ellen has

promised herself that she will never make the mistake of falling for another man again… and

physicians, well she’s more than written them off.

Once she meets sexy Trauma Surgeon, Dr. Trent Hamilton, this promise is unbelievably hard to

keep. This too-hot-for-Ellen's-own-good man is undeniably sexy and down-right irresistible. He

leaves her breathless, speechless, and irritatingly turned on. He makes her fantasize about him in all

kinds of dirty, inappropriate ways.

With the help of her obnoxious, and often times hilarious best friend Amy, Ellen will find herself in

several crazy, embarrassing situations.

This is a story of friendship, love and how one very sarcastic woman can find the strength to pick up

the pieces after having her heart broken.

In her first novel, N.A. Alcorn provides interesting takes on the word vagina, while giving you a

reason to re-think your next visit to the Emergency Room. This book is bound to make you laugh,

smile, and provide you with enough sarcasm to choke your grandmother. No, N.A. doesn’t want

anything bad to happen to your Grandma Ruth, but she does want you to strongly consider re-
naming your vibrator after a guy who’s at the top of your spank bank rotation. Be prepared for

dripping juice-boxes, awkward pelvic thrusting, and a little suspense to keep your snatch on edge.

Warning: This novel contains explicit sex, profanity and far too much vaginal humor. This novel is

not meant for anti-fornicators, up-tight prudes, or virgins who refuse to go to Pound Town.

Review

WOW. I have a fever and the only cure is Trent Hamilton. The Hamiltonian Effect is in full swing over here.

Writing this review is going to be ridiculously hard. Why, you ask? Because I friggin' loved this book so damn much that it's so damn hard for me to even put it into words. When I finished The Infamous Ellen James I realized I have over 35 highlights on my Kindle. 35! This book is so damn hysterical that I couldn't help swiping my fingers across the words and saving them. The quotes are out of this world funny, and I cannot wait for more people to meet Ellen James, because it's true, she's pretty damn infamous.

I had a freaking blast reading this book, and I couldn't help my crazy gif status updates (see them here! Tessa's Review/Status Updates) that I posted while giggling like a little kid when reading things such as this...

He's turning me into a flaky, emotional, involuntary vagina-clenching, constant nipple-hardening mess.  (FYI, Trent totally did this to me, too!)

and

God damnit! I just came while I was looking at your face! This is seriously deranged. Are you not seing how completely fucked up this entire situation is? (I was crying my eyes out with how much I was laughing at this scene!!)

This book has everything that I could ever want in a book. I was laughing so hard that I was crying. I was swooning over Trent on many, many occasions. My heart hurt and I was in shock and tears at certain points. These are all things that I look for in a book, and N.A. definitely delivers! This book brought on every single emotion that I want when reading a book, and I ended it with a HUGE cheesing smile on my face and a warmth in my heart. This book is NOT to be missed!

The Infamous Ellen James one of the best books I've read in 2013. The prologue sucked me in fast, the entire story was engaging, and the epilogue had me smiling through happy tears. It's refreshing, funny, and sinfully sexy. Not to mention completely original with kick ass characters. I want Ellen James to be my bff and I want to steal Trent Hamilton from her at the same time. I laughed, I swooned, I had to bite my cheeks to try to stop the tears from coming. This book has it all and I can't wait for y'all to read it!! You need to one click the moment that it is live on December 1. You won't be disappointed! I'm already begging N.A. for sneak peeks at the second book!

I like the idea of being his far too much. The sixteen-year-old girl in me is scribbling "I love Trent Hamilton" in big, fat bubble letters with corny hearts all over her girly notebook as we speak. <--Yep, once the damn Hamiltonian Effect gets a hold of you, you'll never want to be cured!!

Book Blitz and Giveaway: Dating a Cougar ll by Donna McDonald

Banner Option II
DAC Cover
BLURB
Firefighter and eco entrepreneur Walter Graham II is tired of dating beautiful, but unsettled women who don’t know what they want from life. He wants to date a woman who’s as smart as she is attractive—someone who can talk about interesting things—someone confident about her work. He wants to date Jane Fox, but the sexy older woman keeps coming up with logical reasons why a relationship could never work between them. Yet he has to keep trying because Jane is the only woman who has even turned on his body and his brain at the same time. If he could just get his reluctant ‘cougar’ into bed, Walter is sure he can give that smart mind of hers a lot more to consider than just their age difference.

  Man and Woman

EXCERPT
“Great. It’s not enough I have bloating this time. No, I have to have a pimple on my chin and an eye infection too,” Jane complained out loud.
She pulled on her favorite soft t-shirt, noting the tingling sensation as it scraped her sensitive breasts. Tomorrow was probably D-day for her period to show up. Her monthly torture seemed to only get worse as she got older. Wasn’t the monthly discomfort supposed to start easing up at some point?
Grateful her yoga shorts were at least stretchy and comfortable, Jane sighed as she pushed her rarely worn black rimmed glasses up her nose. Feeling about as frumpy as it was possible for a woman to feel, she trudged to the refrigerator to fill her favorite mug with milk. She was dunking a second cookie, and feeling slightly better about life, when the doorbell rang.
Checking the clock on the wall as she walked to answer it, she peered through the viewer at. .  .Walter? What was he doing here?
Opening the door, her nose immediately registered spicy male and flowers. Flowers? Her gaze fell to the single red rose in his hand.
“Walter?” His name encompassed all her questions.
“You wear glasses?” Walter exclaimed, smiling when she looked embarrassed over the fact. “I didn’t mean to sound so shocked. They make you look seriously cute.”
“Yes. . .well, I hate wearing them. I usually wear contacts,” Jane said. “Why are you here so late?”
“Because I’m an optimist?” Walter suggested. “Here—I brought you a flower. I was going to buy you a couple dozen, but their credit card machine was down. This was all the cash I had in my pocket after the bar.”
“Bar?” Of course. Walter had been drinking and gotten some harebrained idea he just had to share. She sniffed for liquor but smelled only wine. Not knowing what else to do, Jane sighed and took the rose. “Thank you, Walter. What’s the flower for?”
“What’s the flower for?” Walter parroted. He scratched his head. Daniel forgot to fill him in on the possibility that there might be a quiz. “Can I come in?”
“Sure. . .I guess. Sorry if I seem a bit slow. I’m not used to entertaining men after ten o’clock at night,” Jane said, as she stepped aside and motioned for him to enter.
She got a whiff of heat and masculinity as Walter passed by, but this time she kept her sigh of longing to herself. She was quite proud of her self-control until Walter turned and smiled as the door clicked shut behind him. No man had ever looked so totally pleased to have just walked through her door.
“I don’t usually show up on women’s doorsteps uninvited, either. Thanks for letting me in,” Walter said.
“Sure. Okay. So what did bring you here?” Jane asked finally, the butterflies inside her stomach fluttered around the cookies she had eaten. She wondered briefly if Walter was always going to possess the ability to cause nervousness in her. “Before you answer, you should probably know that I smell secondhand smoke, red wine, and oddly enough—another man’s aftershave on you.”
Walter laughed at Jane’s accurate observations and acute sense of smell.
“That’s amazing and probably Daniel. He likes to hug. Daniel is Amanda’s. . .” Walter paused. Should he say fiancĂ©? No. Not yet. “He’s Amanda’s boyfriend. . . and mine too, I guess. We’ve been best friends since we shared a nanny.”
“Look—it’s really late and I don’t need to hear about your sexual experimentations with your friends,” Jane said, turning away from him.
“God no. . .that’s not what. . .why would you even go there?” Walter demanded. “I said we shared a nanny. Our parents shared a babysitting service.”
“Oh,” Jane said, her face flushing with the magnitude of her error. “Well, now I’m the one totally embarrassed. Sorry. I don’t know why I even said that. It’s late. Sometimes I forget that you. . .I don’t even know what point I’m trying to make.”
She stopped talking and just shook her head, totally ashamed of her wicked thoughts.
“Maybe you mean that sometimes you remember I’m a man and forget that I’m a lot younger,” Walter finished, tagging along behind her into the kitchen. He smiled when he saw her lay the rose beside a cup with a frog on it. The smile got wider as she dunked a cookie down inside.
“I didn’t say any of that,” Jane retorted. “Stop trying to put words in my mouth—or my head. It’s late. I’m tired. I had a late dinner with friends last night. I was trying to get to bed early.”
“Speaking of being young though, I was drinking wine up until a few moments ago. You’re the one drinking milk and eating cookies at ten o’clock. So who’s being the kid, Jane? You’re eating kid food,” Walter declared, grinning at her deliberately dunking another chocolate chip cookie into the mug before taking a big bite of it.
“I’m a big girl, Walter. I can do what I want whenever I want,” Jane replied after swallowing. She realized the innuendo of that statement when the chiseled blond statue in front of her grinned wickedly. No cookie in the world was good enough to satisfy the craving for him that hit her full on.
“Yeah. That’s exactly what I like about you,” Walter said, walking closer. “You say what you think and do what you want.”
“I admire you too. You’ll get there one day,” Jane said, dashing away from close proximity to the sink to rinse her cup.
Two seconds later, she felt the heat of Walter along her back, just before two large hands blocked her in on either side. His rising interest in her was already noticeable by the time he stepped into her. The evidence of how much he desired her was as impressive as all the other times.
“Jane. You know I want you.” Walter bent his head until his cheek was against her hair. “You smell like mint and citrus. Also chocolate chip cookies right now.”
“The chocolate was because I needed comforting,” she said, more words escaping that could be taken in several ways.
“I’ll comfort you if you’ll comfort me back,” Walter said, his voice a tiny whisper between them.
Jane groaned. “If I had known you were coming by, I’d have dressed a little more. . .oh wow. . .that feels amazing,” she said, leaning her hot, heavy breasts into Walter’s large hands as they left the sink and came unerringly to the front of her. All that separated them was her favorite t-shirt. She’d never feel the same way about it again.
But no sooner had that thought occurred than she felt Walter’s hands slide down to her waist and back up under her shirt to cup both naked breasts at the same time. As he squeezed and massaged them, his sexy groan in her ear had her straightening, eliciting a surge forward, his eager erection rubbing hard against her curves.
Phrases like ‘glorious’ came to her mind.

Excerpt
**Disclaimer: This content is unedited and subject to change** Copyright © Jessica Ingro “Fine. Bring me the damn suit,” I grumble begrudgingly. “You’re the best! You know that?” Kara kisses me chastely. Her father is still there after all. Bill laughs once Kara bolts up the stairs. “Laugh now. Next thing you know she’ll make you be my elf!” I threaten good naturedly. “I’d love to see that,” he says in between chuckles. “Ah crap!” I pull my hands through my hair, seriously wanting to throw a child-sized temper tantrum at this turn of events. “Think of it this way, son. It will be good practice for when you have kids. And you’re making those girls’ night.” “Yeah… alright. I guess I can try to look on the bright side of things,” I concede. The last thing I need is for my soon to be father-in-law to think I’m a big baby. Kara returns twenty minutes later with a giant red bag. I drag it into the bathroom and take my time changing. Part of me hopes that if I take too long the girls will fall asleep or something. Stranger things have happened. “It’s Christmas Eve, Jacob. The girls won’t want to fall asleep regardless, so don’t think you can get out of this,” Kara calls through door. How the hell does she do that? It’s worse than the eyes in the back of her head. “I’ll be out in a minute,” I yell through the door. After I velcro the giant pillow onto my belly, I turn to the side and stick my stomach out further, poking at my now enlarged gut. I roll my abdominal muscles making the pillow bounce and ripple. Chuckling at my nonsense, I step into the red, velvet pants. I pull the black suspenders over my shoulder and do a little jig watching as my stomach bounces around. Apparently this suit sucks the seriousness out of you. Maybe it’s a magic suit… I stop my musings and proceed to put the jacket on and button it up. I look damn good in red. Even with a giant stomach. Next comes the wig and beard, followed by the hat. Now I have absolutely no reason to walk out of this bathroom. Damn. Opening the door, Kara is the first thing I see. Her face lights up and she graces me with a wide smile. She lifts her arm, and then she does the unthinkable when she snaps a picture with her cell phone. “Lump of coal for you!” I shout and make like I’m going to attack her. When I lunge for her, she screeches and runs across the room. Once I catch up with her, she reaches out and rubs red shit on my cheeks. “Really?” I ask not wanting to deal with this shit. “You are so going to get lucky later,” she mumbles so only I can hear her. “Damn straight. You owe me one creative session, Sunshine.” “There is this new position I heard about that I’ve been curious to try.” “It’s a good thing this suit is big, otherwise my sister would think Santa was a giant perv. What do you think you’re doing telling me that now?” I gripe, knowing my nieces can’t sit on my lap while I’m turned on. “Sorry. I forget,” she says like that explains it all. “You’re lucky I love you.” I kiss her forehead and start towards the stairs. “Let’s get this over with.”
